The Pony Express: Race to the Finish is a straightforward educational game prototype that introduces players to the first level of gameplay with clear goals and simple mechanics. Players have 20 seconds to complete the level in this prototype. Once the timer hits zero, the level 1 ends. The goal is to collect as many of the 14 available letters as possible within the time limit. To play, hit the start button to begin your journey. Use the arrow keys—left, right, up, and down—to move along the path. Jump over rocks and collect Pony Express letters scattered along the way, striving to gather all 14 letters before time runs out.
